Frances A. Schweihs
Frances A. Schweihs (nee Essig), age 99 passed away peacefully on May 13, 2016 in her Villa Park home surrounded by her family. She is survived by her children John (Lorraine) Schweihs, Bill (the late Louise A.) Schweihs, Sr. Kathleen Schweihs CSA, Nancy (Paul) Kinas, Julie (David) Israelson, Joyce (Tom) Molinaro, grandchildren Ron (Lisa) Schweihs, Michelle Kinas (Carolyn Tufano), Andrea (Jimmy) Hall, Tony Kinas, David, Sharon, and Christine Molinaro, and Jesse Israelson, great-grandchildren: Stephanie, Nicholas , Brian and Nicole Schweihs, and Mason Hall. She was predeceased by her husband John R Schweihs Sr. and infant daughter Judith Frances Schweihs.
Daughter of the late William and Katherine Essig (nee Wlk) in Melrose Park, she was a long-time resident of Villa Park since 1927, and active member of St. Alexander Catholic Church and member of the parish school’s third graduation class in 1930.
She was always devoted to her family and extended family and faithful friend to countless people, and a joy and a blessing to each and all of us who have been graced to know her.
Visitation Wednesday May 18, at Steuerle Funeral home 350 S. Ardmore Ave, Villa Park, Il. 60181 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral Thursday In state 9 a.m. until time of Mass 10a.m. at St. Alexander Church 300 S. Cornell Ave. Villa Park, Il. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery Hillside, Il.
