Pamela Ann Gruchalski

Pamela Ann Gruchalski beloved wife of Larry, loving mother of Troy (Rhonda), Tracy (Xavier) Bautista, Todd (Penny), dear grandmother of Alex, Jace, Ryley, Chase, Caden, Garrett, Gavin and Gabriel, loving daughter of Bonnie and the late Jerry Brown, best friend of Terry and Diane, will be dearly missed by her doggies, cats and fishes. Pamela loved her sports the Chicago Cubs, Blackhawks, Bowling (Monday league), Bears, she had a great memory knew every sport stat there was and loved to talk for hours.

The world has lost a wonderful woman. Mom has given us several memories that we will forever cherish. She was always her kids #1 fan even when we made it hard to cheer for us. Reminiscing about mom makes us laugh and cry but mostly smile. As kids she would drive us to all our sporting events and even help shag fly balls during baseball season. This small 5’2” lady would also become a body guard and defend her kids if ANYONE ever spoke crossed about us (especially during wrestling season). She loved her sports and loved her rock n roll. She passed both of these loves onto her kids. Mom loved to talk; you could call her whenever (just had to make sure you had at least 30 minutes to chat) and she would talk until the battery went dead on the phone. Mom also had a great memory and a knack for recalling the smallest details about things. We also got this gift from her and we will miss bantering with her over old stories, stats, movies sports, professional wrestlers and her favorite topic “who is a better basketball player… Michael Jordan or Lebron James? She would get soooo fired up when we would argue that Lebron was Wayyyy better than MJ and then put us in our place (we were kidding about Lebron of course).

“Remembrance in life’s passing is the truest form of love one can give, for a memory should never die and a love should live forever in the heart of another” Laura M. Phipps-Kelley
