Maximina Estrella nee SantanaVargas, beloved wife of the late Juan Diogenes Estrella, passed away on December16, 2014 in her sleep.
She battled Alzheimer’s and still believed in Jesus until her last breath.
No matter the day, she would pray with you. She forgot the names of many but, never our Lord.
She was born in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico and passed away as a resident of Villa Park, Illinois. She was 89 years old.
She lived with her granddaughter Susan Marie Regan and her great grandsons Christian 17 and Gabriel 12.
She was the mother to the late daughter Margarita Regan Casillo nee Estrella Santana.
She was also the grandmother to the late Linda Anne Regan and John E. Regan Jr.
She leaves behind her sisters Rosario Badillo, Milagro Cabreras, and Angelina Santana.
She was a dear aunt and great aunt and great great aunt to many.
She will forever be in our hearts and spirits and she will live on. She is laid to rest in the Elm Lawn Arlington Cemetery in Elmhurst, Illinois. May she forever have peace and no more pain.
Thank you Lord for the extra time you gave us and for the love and good memories we gained having her with us. Now she rests and is an angel in your gates smiling down upon us,
And we thank all who attended her private interment.And even more thanks to both the Estrella side and the Santana sides of the families for their contributions thus far.
